How To Make Your Blog Profitable

As I mentioned last week on Instagram, I’ve been working on an exciting new project for the past few weeks. Now I can reveal exactly what that is… Drumroll, please… I have updated my e-book, which outlines all of the steps you need to take to become a successful – and profitable – blogger.

Frequently, readers ask me for blogging advice (the most common question is How To Make Your Blog Profitable); so in 2016, I published the 10 Things I Wish I Knew When I Started Blogging guidebook.

However, the online world moves quickly, as you all know. There have been many changes over the last three years. Therefore, it was time to update and redesign the e-book so that it can continue to be useful to content creators on their Make Your Blog Profitable journeys.

Honestly, I am SO proud of this updated edition (it’s visually 10 times more appealing than the original). In case you’re interested in ordering a copy, I’ve provided more details below, along with the purchase link…

Here Are Some Frequently Asked/Anticipated Questions

Q. Which topics does this e-book cover?

There are 10 steps in the e-book. Writing your blog’s manifesto and choosing your unique selling point are topics covered in chapter one. The second chapter discusses the importance of setting clear content categories, as well as the differences between Blogger, WordPress, and Squarespace. Lastly, the third chapter introduces your blog’s visual identity. The fourth chapter focuses on content: how to write engaging Make Your Blog Profitable posts and create an editorial calendar.

The fifth chapter focuses on search engine optimization (it’s a meaty chapter). In chapter six you’ll learn how to use all of the different social media platforms to effectively promote your content. This is followed by an explanation of Google Analytics. Using email to promote your content is discussed in chapter eight. The ninth chapter explains how to make money from your blog and how to create a media kit/rate card. Furthermore, chapter 10 offers a list of helpful resources to help you continue learning.

Q. My blog already exists. What relevance does this book have for me?

The answer is yes. In writing this book, I wanted both new bloggers and experienced bloggers to benefit. When you have been Make Your Blog Profitable for a while, but have hit some stumbling blocks and watched your traffic plateau, this guidebook will help you get back on track, correct any bad habits, and learn effective new strategies.

Q. Is there a way to order 10 Things I Wish I Knew When I Started Blogging?

The e-book can be purchased at this link if you’d like to download it. After clicking the link, you’ll be taken to a secure payment page. It costs £15.99 and all payments must be made through PayPal.

You will receive the link to download the e-book at the email address you provided at the time of purchase. Within seconds of placing your order, you should receive an email containing a link to download the product. In case you do not receive an email, please check to make sure that it has not been mistakenly placed into the spam or promotions folder. Should you not be able to access it, please email me and I will send it to you manually.

Q. Is your e-book available on Amazon Kindle?

Sorry, not at this time (although I may check into this at some point in the future if there is enough demand). At this time, the ebook is formatted as a color PDF, which can be downloaded and viewed on any desktop, iPad, tablet, iPhone, or smartphone.

Q. What is different about this edition of the e-book from the 2016 version?

As far as the e-book is concerned, the structure has not changed. Social media, on the other hand, has been completely re-written (and it’s now a lot longer) because so much has changed in the last two and a half years. Several other chapters in the book have also been updated to reflect changes in information or technological advancements since 2016.

A completely new design has been implemented for the book’s visual appearance. It now looks much better and is easier to navigate. The cover has been photographed by the wonderful Jennifer Darr.

There may be a chance that the updated social media chapter of The 10 Things I Wish I Knew When I Started Make Your Blog Profitable becomes a separate, mini e-book for those who purchased the 10 Things I Wish I Knew When I Started Blogging. If that’s something you’re interested in, please let me know.
