The food is absolutely fantastic and it’s a great place to go for happy hour. The ambiance of Diego’s is very nice as well, given that they have outside seating and tables inside. They also have weekly specials where you can enjoy half-off drinks on Wednesday and half-off appetizers on Tuesday. But their daily specials are a steal: you can get either soup or salad, both freshly made at Diego’s, for free with your lunch or dinner order from Monday through Friday excluding holidays. You won’t find a better deal in town! Overall, Diego’s is one of my favorite restaurants in Newport. I highly recommend checking it out if you haven’t already.

If you’re looking for New England seafood with an upscale twist, head to The Mooring Food Restaurants In Newport Kitchen & Bar. You’ll want to take your time perusing their menu of tasty treats. We love the Cioppino and Blue Crab Étouffée, both delicious entrees that are hard to find elsewhere in town. The service is impeccable and prices are more than reasonable. Everything from the presentation to taste passes our inspection and we give it a solid A+. If you haven’t been, put it on your list now! You won’t be disappointed. Whether you want classic Italian food or some experimental fare, Aldo’s Ristorante has got what you’re craving. We love everything about Aldo’s the cozy ambiance, top-notch service, and exquisite dishes like Steak Gorgonzola Salads or Shrimp Sorrentino but most of all we appreciate how fresh everything tastes. The wait staff makes sure your glass is never empty and they can recommend wine pairings based on whatever Food Restaurants In Newport you order they really know their stuff! On top of all that, they’ve got live music every night and a cocktail bar where patrons enjoy great deals after 5 p.m.

30. 22 Bowen’s Wine Bar & Grille

My first time here and I was not disappointed. Friendly staff, reasonable prices, amazing service! If you are looking for a good place to get wine and a bite to eat, Bowen’s is your place. The Food Restaurants In Newport menu is extensive. You will definitely find something you like on their menu. They also have a pretty good selection of wines from all over to choose from as well! So if you are looking for some great local flavor in south Jersey head on down Bowen’s Wine Bar & Grille!!!

Also if you check-in on Yelp or Facebook you get 10% off your total bill!! I highly recommend going here! Very nice atmosphere and really friendly people working there.


While there are a lot of options for delicious 20 Best Food Restaurants In Newport, there are few that have received as much praise as Fork by Nick Drombosky. Opened just last year, it was an instant hit thanks to its inventive cuisine. Definitely worth trying if you’re looking for an upscale dining experience. But if upscale isn’t your thing, you can still get something good at Grumpy Rhino Café. We’ve searched every nook and cranny in every corner of Newport for you.
